Privacy Policy
Monovi ("we", "us") operates SomeBuddy. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and your choices. Contact: contact@monovi.com.tr.
1. Who this applies to
SomeBuddy is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email, username, profile preferences (e.g. display name, locale), authentication identifiers from email/password, Google, or Apple Sign In.
- Chat content: messages you send and AI replies, including optional images generated in chat. Messages are stored encrypted at rest where supported.
- Character data: characters you create (name, personality, appearance prompts, avatars).
- Purchase data: in-app credit purchases via Apple App Store or Google Play (transaction IDs; we do not store full payment card numbers).
- Technical data: device type, app version, and standard logs needed for security and debugging.
3. How we use data
- Provide chat, character creation, image generation, and credit features
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Process in-app purchases and credit balances
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
4. AI and third-party services
We use trusted processors to run SomeBuddy, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, file storage (chat images, avatars)
- Google Gemini — AI text and image generation for chat characters
- Apple / Google — sign-in and in-app payments
Chat content may be sent to AI providers to generate replies and images. Do not share sensitive personal information you would not want processed by an AI service.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete associated chat rooms, messages, and stored chat images as described in our Account Deletion page. Backup copies may persist for a limited period for security and legal compliance.
6. Your rights
Depending on your region (including EEA/UK under GDPR and Türkiye under KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and encrypted message storage. No method is 100% secure.
9. Children
SomeBuddy is not directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
